About Siddhartha
The school is named after the Great Teacher Siddhartha, who enlightened mankind with his heavenly teachings and was proclaimed as the Light of Asia — Lord Buddha.
‘Siddhartha’ is managed by the ‘Siddhartha Foundation’, a Kollam based organisation formed by a group of teachers and eminent personalities who are passionate in contributing to the educational arena and making a change in our society. The dedicated, multi-faceted and talented leaders of the foundation give unprecedented support for innovative educational experiences to our children.
We are supported in our academic efforts by our sister institutions — Siddhartha Central School, Pallimon, a CBSE affiliated senior secondary school, and Green Mount School, Chavara.
We offer classes from Pre-KG to Class IX. It is projected to add more students and higher classes each year and grow into a senior secondary school in the next few years.
Our school is very keen in implementing the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation Scheme with a pragmatic outlook.

With immense pleasure, we are proud to announce that Siddhartha Central School, Ambalamkunnu has been granted CBSE affiliation till Class X. Our affiliation code is 931445.
We are excited about moving further and bringing the best education strategies forward to help our students achieve maximum benefit in every field. Siddhartha Foundation has achieved a great milestone by having three CBSE affiliated schools under its organisation.
Siddhartha Central School, Ambalamkunnu is a major education project, and the school will be providing world class education adhering strictly to NEP 2020 — focusing on early childhood care education and a curriculum that integrates 21st century skills, mathematical thinking and scientific temper.
There is no rigid separation between art and science, or between vocational and academic streams. We focus on competency-based education, teaching content through art integration, Kolb’s experiential learning theory and skill-based education. Siddhartha always provides holistic, multidisciplinary education.
